GVSP is an international NGO founded and located in Kenya.

 Prisons Water Program (PWP) - (ongoing project)  is a project aimed at:

1. Provision of sustainable water and rehabilitation of water and sanitation infrastructures, in  the prisons and detention centres nationwide. In Kenya there are currently 92 prisons and detention centres.   In each prison, the project will involve
2. Provision of sustainable, adequate and safe water to the prisoners, staff and the local community. The water will be obtained from a variety of sources – sinking a borehole, from a spring, river and lake or public mains where available
3. Construction of sufficient water storage facilities
4. Rehabilitation of the waste-water, sanitation systems and septic tanks,
5. Construction of bio-gas infrastructures, viably utilize any excess water and
6. Train warders and prisoners maintenance of the facilities.
