Welcome to Global Victims Support Programme (GVSP), an international NGO with its Headquarters in Nairobi.

Global Victims Support Programme is an Initiative set up to provide support for victims of neglect, war, famine, disease, environment and numerous other forms that turn people into victims.

GVSP’s main objective is to promote and encourage rehabilitation programs aimed at assisting victims of war and natural calamities (floods, drought, famine) etc, to get back on their feet and become more self reliant i.e. create job opportunities.

GVSP is an international NGO founded and located in Kenya.

The focus group in this case includes street children, orphans and HIV/AIDS victims.

We have several specific objectives to assist us meet the main objective. Every activity is considered on its own merit putting into consideration prevailing circumstances in the affected areas. Our vision is that traditional African way of life contribute to more than 50% of the problems affecting the communities in sub Saharan region and the idea of restocking whenever there is drought related famine which is recurrent phenomenon does not change the affected communities from their way of life.

We fill the vacuum in areas neglected by other stake holders which we consider crucial standards and changing the communities from traditionalists. We enlist both local and international voluntary services of professionals willing to assist, who gain vast experience and exposure in return.

Activities so far undertaken by GVSP include HIV/AIDS treatment continuum project for care and support, undertaken in October/November 2005, funded by National Aids Control Council. Other subsidiary activities include facilitation of mobile clinics, donations medicine and medical equipments, ambulances, mobile water tanks (bowser), specialized equipment e.g. borehole drilling rigs, and clothes.

GVSP has been able to penetrate to orphans, the widows/widowers, the elderly and all those who would normally not have anyone to plead their cause.
